Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Ordono account and your data at any time — either directly in the app or by email.
You do not need to keep the app installed to request deletion.
Option 1 — Delete directly in the app
- Open Ordono and sign in
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
Your account and data will then be processed for deletion.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, send an email from the email address associated with your Ordono account to:
Subject: Account deletion request
We will verify your request and confirm once your account and data have been deleted.
Deletion is typically completed within 30 days.
What data will be deleted?
When your account is deleted, the following data will be deleted, including:
- Your account, profile and login information
- All uploaded documents and files
- OCR text, AI-extracted information and search data generated from your documents
- Reminders and reminder history
- Your Ordono AI conversation history
- Push notification tokens and device/session data
What data may be temporarily retained and why?
A limited amount of data may remain temporarily or in a restricted form after deletion for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Backups
Deleted data is removed from active systems.
However, it may remain for a limited period in encrypted backups until those backups are permanently overwritten or deleted as part of our regular backup cycle.
Billing and transaction records
Apple and Google may retain their own transaction and payment records for tax, accounting or legal purposes.
These records are processed independently by the respective platforms and are not controlled by the deletion of your Ordono account.
Legal obligations
Where we are legally required to retain certain information for a defined period, we retain only the information required by law.
Once the applicable retention period ends, this information will be deleted.
Partial deletion of data
You do not need to delete your entire account to remove individual data.
You can delete individual documents directly within Ordono at any time.
When you delete a document, the associated data will also be processed for deletion, including:
- Document file
- OCR text
- Extracted information
- Related reminders
The rest of your Ordono account remains unaffected.
