1. Welcome to Ordono
Welcome to Ordono.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ordono mobile application, website and related services (“Ordono” or the “Services”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using Ordono, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
Any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country remain unaffected.
2. Service Provider
Ordono is operated by:

3. Our Services
Ordono is a digital platform designed to help users store, organize, understand and manage personal documents and related information.
Depending on your plan and available features, the Services may include:
- Document storage
- Document scanning and upload
- Automatic document classification
- Information extraction
- Smart reminders
- Document search
- Ordono AI
- Document summaries
- Contract and deadline insights
- Cost overviews
- Subscription and recurring-cost insights
- Document sharing
- Family features
- Other features introduced over time
We may improve, modify, replace or discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary, for example for technical, security, legal or product-development reasons.
Where a change materially affects a paid Service, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Ordono.
Ordono is not intended for children under the age of 16.
If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent, you may only use Ordono with the required authorization.
5. User Account
Certain features require an Ordono account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Maintain the security of your account
- Not share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
You are responsible for activities performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may require additional verification where reasonably necessary to protect your account or the Services.
6. Your Documents and Content
You retain ownership of the documents, information and other content you upload to Ordono (“User Content”).
Ordono does not acquire ownership of your User Content.
By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant Ordono a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce and technically modify the User Content only to the extent necessary to:
- Provide the Services
- Analyze and organize documents
- Extract information
- Generate reminders
- Provide Ordono AI
- Provide search and other requested functionality
- Maintain security, backups and technical operation
This permission ends when the relevant User Content is deleted, subject to reasonable technical backup periods and legal retention requirements.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and process the User Content you provide.
7. Ordono AI
Ordono AI uses artificial intelligence to help users understand, organize and interact with their documents.
Ordono AI may provide:
- Document summaries
- Answers based on documents
- Deadline information
- Cost information
- Contract insights
- Comparisons
- Other AI-generated information
AI-generated content is created automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
You should always verify important information against the original document and, where appropriate, obtain qualified professional advice.
Ordono AI does not provide legal, financial, investment, insurance, tax, medical or other professional advice.
You remain responsible for decisions made based on information provided by Ordono AI.
8. Online Information and Comparisons
Certain Ordono AI features may use current information from external online sources to identify or compare products, services, prices or providers.
Such information may change at any time and may be incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate.
Ordono does not guarantee that:
- All available providers are included
- Search results are exhaustive
- A displayed price is still available
- A product or service is suitable for you
- A comparison represents the best available offer
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ordono does not act as an insurance broker, financial adviser or contractual intermediary.
Users should verify any offer directly with the relevant provider before entering into a contract.
9. Free and Paid Plans
Ordono may offer Free, Pro, Family or other subscription plans.
Features, usage limits and prices may vary depending on:
- Subscription plan
- Country or region
- Platform
- Promotional offers
- App Store or Google Play pricing
The features and price applicable to your subscription are displayed before purchase.
Usage limits, including Ordono AI request limits, may apply.
We may introduce reasonable measures to prevent abuse, automated usage or excessive use of the Services.
10. Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions may be purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play or other payment methods made available by Ordono.
Unless otherwise stated, paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
You can cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription through the subscription settings of the platform through which you purchased it.
Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal. Access to paid features generally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period, subject to the relevant platform rules and applicable law.
Apple and Google operate their own subscription-management systems and policies.
11. Pricing and Price Changes
Current subscription prices are displayed before purchase.
Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on the platform, country and applicable law.
Subscription prices may change in the future.
Where required, users will receive advance notice of price changes and an opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.
For subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google Play, price changes are also subject to the respective platform rules. Google, for example, requires transparency and notice for subscription price changes.
12. Payments
Where a subscription is purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, payments are processed by the respective platform.
Ordono generally does not receive or store your full payment card information.
For subscriptions or services invoiced directly by Ordono, payment conditions shown on the relevant invoice, order or agreement apply.
13. Refunds and Consumer Rights
Refund eligibility depends on:
- The platform through which the subscription was purchased
- Applicable consumer law
- The circumstances of the purchase
For App Store and Google Play purchases, refund requests may be handled under the respective platform’s refund rules. Google Play also allows developers to issue refunds in certain circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory refund, withdrawal or consumer rights that apply to you.
Users in Switzerland should note that Swiss law does not generally provide a universal statutory withdrawal period for ordinary e-commerce transactions.
Users in the EEA may have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts. Special rules may apply to digital services once performance has begun.
14. Corporate and B2B Access
Ordono may be provided to you through an employer, insurer or other organization (“Organization”).
An Organization may purchase or provide an Ordono entitlement or license for your account.
The Organization does not own your personal Ordono account or your private documents.
Unless you explicitly choose to share information using a feature designed for that purpose, the Organization cannot access:
- Your private documents
- Document contents
- Ordono AI conversations
- Personal reminders
- Personal cost information
- Private document categories
The Organization may receive limited administrative information necessary to manage its licenses, such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Invitation status
- License status
- Activation status
If your Organization ends your corporate entitlement:
- Your corporate paid access may end
- The Organization may reuse the corresponding corporate seat
- Your personal Ordono account remains yours
- Your documents are not transferred to the Organization
- Your account may move to the Ordono Free plan unless you subscribe independently
If your stored usage exceeds the Free-plan limits after a downgrade, Ordono will not automatically delete your existing documents solely because of that downgrade.
Certain paid functionality or new uploads may be restricted until you upgrade or reduce your usage.
15. Family Plans and Sharing
Ordono may offer Family plans or document-sharing features.
Each family member may have an individual account and private content.
Shared documents or information are only made available to users with whom they have been intentionally shared.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share documents or personal data belonging to another person.
Ordono is not responsible for actions taken by another user after you intentionally share content with them, except where required by law.
16. Acceptable Use
You must not use Ordono to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Commit fraud or other unlawful acts
- Upload malware or malicious code
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Circumvent security or usage controls
- Interfere with the availability or operation of the Services
- Use automated systems to abuse the Services
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Upload content you are not legally permitted to process
- Use Ordono to harm another person
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect Ordono, our users or third parties.
17. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to:
- Maintenance
- Updates
- Security incidents
- Infrastructure failures
- Third-party service interruptions
- Events outside our reasonable control
Where reasonably possible, we will work to restore affected Services promptly.
18. Backup Recommendation
Ordono implements technical measures intended to protect stored data.
However, Ordono should not be considered your only backup of important documents.
We strongly recommend maintaining independent copies of documents that are particularly important or legally required.
19. Intellectual Property
Ordono and its software, trademarks, branding, designs, graphics, interface, text and other proprietary content are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for your User Content, all rights in Ordono remain with Ordono or its licensors.
You may not, except where permitted by applicable law:
- Copy the Services
- Modify the Services
- Distribute proprietary Ordono content
- Sell or sublicense access
- Reverse engineer the Services
- Circumvent technical protection measures
- Use Ordono branding without authorization
20. Third-Party Services
Ordono relies on third-party services and infrastructure.
Certain functionality may therefore depend on third-party providers.
Ordono is not responsible for independent third-party services that you access outside Ordono.
Your use of third-party platforms such as Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to their separate terms and policies.
21. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Ordono at any time.
You may delete your account through the functionality made available by Ordono.
We may temporarily restrict, suspend or terminate access if:
- You materially violate these Terms
- Your use creates a security risk
- Your use is fraudulent or unlawful
- We are legally required to do so
- Continued operation of the account could materially harm Ordono or other users
Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice before suspension or termination.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
22. Data After Account Deletion
Deletion of your account is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Certain data may temporarily remain in backups or be retained where required by law.
You should export or download any documents you wish to retain before deleting your account.
23. Disclaimer
Ordono is a document-management and information-assistance service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided without warranties beyond those expressly required by law.
We do not guarantee that:
- AI-generated information will always be accurate
- Extracted document information will always be error-free
- Reminders will always be delivered
- External information will always be current
- The Services will always be uninterrupted
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory warranties or consumer rights.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ordono is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the Services.
This may include, where legally permissible:
- Lost profits
- Business interruption
- Loss resulting from reliance solely on AI-generated content
- Loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by third parties
- Service interruptions outside our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
25. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful use of Ordono or your material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not limit rights granted to consumers under mandatory law.
26. Changes to the Services
Ordono will continue to evolve.
We may introduce, modify or remove features.
We will not intentionally remove material paid functionality during an active paid subscription without reasonable justification or any notice required under applicable law.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, for example due to:
- New features
- Changes in applicable law
- Security requirements
- Technical changes
- Business or operational changes
The current version will be available in the app or on the Ordono website.
Where changes materially affect users’ rights or obligations, we will provide appropriate notice where required by law.
Continued use following an effective change may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
28. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of protections that cannot be waived under the mandatory law applicable to you.
29. Jurisdiction
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules, disputes shall be subject to the competent courts at Ordono’s place of business in Switzerland.
Where mandatory law gives consumers the right to bring proceedings in another competent court, that right remains unaffected.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
31. No Waiver
If Ordono does not enforce a provision of these Terms immediately, this does not mean that Ordono waives its right to enforce that provision later.
